The gaming supplement giant G Fuel has posted a rather cryptic message on social media, saying that “After years of shaking things up, fueling the grind, and rewriting rules, it’s the end of an era.” It’s very much the sort of message you would see a brand put out into the world as it is about to close up shop and cease to exist, with the long-running G Fuel finishing it all off by saying “Logging Out.”
Knowing how big the brand is and how it has been pretty non-stop with releases over the last few years, it definitely had us thinking. You may have noticed that more recently, some of the flavor drops by G Fuel for its signature gaming supplement featured a different sort of look. That appears to be leading into the launch of a fresh new formula for G Fuel’s flagship energy and focus-enhancing product.

Shipping later this month are 2.0 versions of longtime flavors of G Fuel’s Energy Formula, including Pewdiepie 2.0, Hype Sauce 2.0, Nuka Cola 2.0, and Miami Nights 2.0. We guess that the message about the “end of an era” is in relation to the new formula the brand is rolling out. It is notably different, still centered around supporting energy and focus but with a refined set of completely transparent ingredients and dosages, including 1.5g of taurine, citrulline, theanine, and the same 140mg of caffeine.
We’ve got the facts panel for the new G Fuel Energy Formula 2.0, which, according to the brand, is rolling out later this month. With the original using proprietary blends, it’s hard to compare the two, although we’d say it looks a bit more refined, providing a smoother energy feel and clearer focus. You can already visit gfuel.com to pre-order the updated supplement in those four flavors mentioned earlier at $35.99.
