Optimum takes on clear protein with a blend of whey isolate and premium collagen

Optimum Pro Quench

Optimum Nutrition has been a part of the clear protein powder movement over in the United Kingdom and Europe, although not here at home in the major US market. The legacy supplement company has finally changed that with the reveal and release of Pro Quench. Optimum hasn’t followed the usual recipe, at least entirely, as it has two sources of protein in its competitor, not just the clean and lean whey isolate.

Pro Quench from Optimum Nutrition features a combination of premium whey isolate and the premium Tendoforte collagen peptides, each of them contributing 10g of protein per serving for a total of 20g. With collagen making up half of the protein content, as expected, the rest of the macros are impressively light with just a gram of carbohydrates, none of that sugar, zero fat, and a calorie count of just 80.

The supplement is very much a clear-style protein powder with the added benefits of high-end Tendoforte collagen supporting muscle and joint health and function. Optimum Nutrition has, of course, launched Pro Quench in fruit-based flavors, two in total: Strawberry Splash and Tropical Orange Mango. They’re rolling out to retailers in relatively small 416g tubs, which is just 16 total servings, priced at $32.99.
