SNCK is one of the newest names in the world of functional food in Europe, specifically in Denmark, and based on promotional graphics, it looks absolutely delicious. Thankfully, we managed to get our hands on each of the three flavors of the product and can tell you from firsthand experience how it measures up. The problem with images from brands is that they make things look as good as possible, and that may not reflect reality.
Review
We can honestly say after smashing through several of each flavor of the SNCK Protein Bar, that they are incredibly on point and as good texture-wise as the promotional material shows. The macros on the product aren’t too bad with 16g of protein, primarily from milk, then a touch of collagen and pea protein. The carbohydrates come in at 21g with 1 to 4g of that sugar, around 10g of fat, and 203 to 229 calories.
The three flavors SNCK has available for its debut protein bar are Vanilla Fluff, Caramel Pop, and Choco Shot. They each have their own sort of variety of tastes, textures, and even build to some extent, but the one thing that is consistent across the board is that these are impeccably soft and smooth. We hear a lot of brands make that claim, and while almost none of them tend to deliver on that promise, Denmark’s SNCK does.

The SNCK Protein Bar looks, feels, and smells like an actual candy bar, and the texture very much solidifies that fact when you bite into it. The product has a softness similar to Optimum Nutrition’s whipped protein bar from years ago in the United Kingdom. The consistency makes it almost impossible to believe that you’re eating a protein bar, especially the Vanilla Fluff flavor, as that has a gooey vanilla, marshmallow-like layer across the top that is unlike anything else we’ve seen in a protein bar.
Our only knock on SNCK and its flagship protein snack is the same one we had against Optimum Nutrition’s protein bar from many years ago, as well as some other great texture competitors out there. The texture is on point, but it is at the sacrifice of sweet, full flavor.
You can definitely pick up on the individual tastes the brand is trying to communicate in each of its options, but they don’t quite shine as much as you get in the likes of the Barebells Protein Bar or Grenade Protein Bar. Outside of the moderately strong chocolate, which shines in the Choco Shot flavor, there isn’t much else in terms of flavor, although in saying that, the ridiculously soft texture more than makes up for it.

Summary
Overall, the SNCK Protein Bar is a worthy competitor in the functional food space, and probably the best newcomer we’ve seen in quite some time. It’s not a copy and paste of other products out there; it is its own separate experience that has a candy bar texture you won’t find anywhere else. The Vanilla Fluff is genuinely otherworldly, so if you do happen to come across it, snatch up that one, and it’ll most definitely blow your mind.
