Extrifit is one of the biggest names in sports nutrition in its home country of the Czech Republic, and its catalog is absolutely giant, with almost no category left uncovered. All of that aside, it still manages to add to the line, typically in sprees of new products, which is what we’ve seen this past month. Over the last few weeks, we’ve seen Extrifit’s entry in the clear protein trend with Clear Protein ISO Whey and the delicious Crunch Protein Bar.
Continuing the streak of innovation from Extrifit this week are two capsule supplements, and while these sorts of things are still common in Europe, it’s been many years since we’ve seen them here in the US. The products are called Hydro Peptides Beef and Hydro Peptides Whey, which put their title-mentioned sources of protein into large capsules. Each of them has about 833mg of protein, all from hydrolyzed whey or beef with quality, complete amino profiles.
Protein sources in tablets or capsules were much more common over a decade ago, but have remained strong in parts of Europe. Hydro Peptides Whey and Hydro Peptides Beef are a modern approach to that, with the sources and format, making for a quick and convenient way to get extra bits of protein throughout the day. Both of the supplements are now available in Czechia in tubs of 420 capsules at 799 Kč for Beef and 999 Kč (48.09 USD) for Whey.
