This year has been filled with far more special edition festive flavors than any other, especially here in North America. The plant-powered brand Only What You Need, more simply known as OWYN, has joined in on the fun of the season and made a temporary taste for its signature Plant Protein Shake. The product comes with a Christmassy taste inside and features a full-on holiday design on the outside, but you can only get it from one retail partner.
The big box store that has been given exclusivity on OWYN’s Christmas edition drop is Target, where it already has a strong presence and availability, with bottles of its Plant Protein Shake at $8.49 for a pack of four. The flavor the brand has cooked up for the holidays is Peppermint Cocoa, blending the freshness of peppermint and the sweetness of rich cocoa, all with the beverage’s usual 32g of protein, moderate carbohydrates and fat, and no sugar.
