Ronnie Coleman Signature Series has been quite busy as of late, breaking into new markets like India and Brazil, and launching exclusive supplements in those parts of the world, like Yeah Buddy Black and King Beef protein powder. The brand is turning its attention back to its domestic catalog this week with the reveal and release of another protein-based product, that takes a different approach to all of the many other competitors it has on the market.
King Whey Sport Protein is the latest innovation from Ronnie Coleman Signature Series, and it is the most cost-effective competitor in the protein powder category from the bodybuilding legend’s brand. The supplement is actually very similar in formula and value to the already available Whey-XS. King Whey Sport comes in at a cost of $59.99 before any deal or discount, for a large tub of 5lbs in traditional Chocolate Milk and Vanilla Ice Cream flavors.
Under the hood, Ronnie Coleman Signature Series King Whey Sport Protein comes with 23g of protein per serving from a blend of whey and milk concentrate, and whey isolate. That doesn’t sound too bad, although what makes it great value and help keep the cost down is the next big ingredient after the protein, is maltodextrin, contributing to 12g of carbohydrates per serving. That is higher than usual, but when you bring up the carbs, it increases the serving size, resulting in fewer servings than usual, as in a 5lb tub of King Whey Sport, you only get 51.
