Clean energy drink Reign Storm is being reintroduced as its own standalone brand

Storm Energy Drink

The Monster Brand Reign introduced a cleaner, better-for-you competitor in the energy drink category, not too long ago, in Reign Storm. It is quite different from the high-powered signature Reign Energy Drink with its 300mg of caffeine, featuring ingredients for things like hair and skin health, as well as weight management. Storm has gradually built out its menu to a whole host of flavors, including Harvest Grape, Valencia Orange, and Strawberry Apricot.

Around the middle of next year, Monster and Reign are reintroducing the clean, white-branded Reign Storm as its own brand. From there on, it will simply be referred to as the Storm Energy Drink, no attachment to “Reign”. The beverage family is going to get a new look to reflect that separation, as you can see in the image above, with the removal of the Reign name at the top, and in its place is Storm’s own “S” logo, establishing itself all on its own.

The catalog of Monster energy drinks is extensive, with the likes of Mother, Predator, Reign, the upcoming female-focused FLRT, and very soon, the standalone Storm. The company will be maintaining that better-for-you approach, and presumably everything in terms of active ingredients and benefits. The revamped Storm Energy Drink has been shown off in four of Reign Storm’s flavors, like Tropical and Valencia Orange, so taste-wise it’ll be familiar too.
