Thorne goes plant-based for its newest protein powder backed by a complete EAA profile

Thorne Plant Protein

The clean and reliable supplement company Thorne has one of the larger catalogs out there, although protein powders don’t take up all that space. The brand in white has had Whey Protein Isolate available for some time, and its much more advanced all-in-one approach, MediClear-SGS. Thorne is growing its presence in the protein category this month with another traditional entry, specifically for the plant-based side of things.

Thorne Plant Protein is now available for purchase directly through thorne.com at $49 for a 1.5lb tub of 40 scoops, although it’s worth noting you need two scoops to make a whole serving. Basically, it is $49 for a total of 20 servings, and there are two tastes to choose from, both traditional in Chocolate and Vanilla. They’re completely natural, relying on natural colors and flavors alongside the vegan-friendly sources of protein.

Under the hood, Thorne’s newly released Plant Protein combines pea, chia seed, and rice protein for 22g of the muscle-building macronutrient. The brand has specifically selected those ingredients to ensure you get a complete amino acid profile, which is crucial for recovery and growth. The rest of the nutrition profile includes 5g of carbohydrates, 2g of that fiber, absolutely no sugar, 4g of fat, and a reasonable calorie count at 140.
