Decadent Brownie Batter flavor of Barebell’s top-rated protein bar shows up at GNC

Brownie Batter Barebells Protein Bar

One of the major reasons Barebells won our Functional Brand Of The Year Award in 2025 was because of how relentlessly creative and persistent it is with rich and decadent new flavors of its signature Barebells Protein Bar and Soft Protein Bar. Last year, the leading protein bar maker certainly picked up its innovation speed and pumped out more extensions than we had ever seen before, and it is showing no signs of that stopping heading into 2026.

Barebells already kicked off the year with the delicious Peanut Cloud Soft Protein Bar, blending marshmallow, caramel, peanuts, and chocolate. That is being followed up here in the US, specifically at GNC, with another mouthwatering new flavor, although this one is for the top-rated regular, Barebells Protein Bar. The newest flavor for that product is Brownie Batter, offering a heavy brownie chocolate taste but without the sugar and calories of a brownie.

The nutrition profile on the newly released Brownie Batter Barebells Protein Bar starts with 20g of protein primarily from a blend of casein, whey isolate, and whey concentrate, 20g of carbohydrates with just 1g of that sugar, 8g of fat, and 210 calories. The flavor has appeared first over at GNC, meaning it could be exclusive to that major retailer, as was the case with the Wild Cherry Barebells Protein Bar, which came to market around this time last year.
