No Sugar Company puts a huge 27g of protein in a lean 42g serving of its upcoming cereal

No Sugar Company Perfect Protein Cereal

While Joyburst has become a beast all on its own with its extensive selection of functional beverages, its original parent company, or now sister brand, the No Sugar Company, hasn’t been lying around doing nothing. It is still very popular in the world of functional foods, and has revealed a notable innovation it plans on coming out with in the very near future that’ll put it in a whole new space, similar to what Creatine Soda is about to do for Joyburst.

The No Sugar Company has shared a preview of its sugar-free Perfect Protein Cereal, featuring crunchy hoop-shaped pieces in a traditional honey and nut flavor. We have, of course, seen many protein-packed breakfast cereals before, although what makes this one so interesting is how much protein it has. The brand is proudly claiming this to be the highest protein cereal on the market, and it is impressive with 27g, and that is from a moderate 42g serving.

Not only is that a lot of protein in a serving, but it’s an incredibly lean serving, giving you a protein percentage of 64%. Just to give you an idea of how good that is, in the same size 42g serving of Magic Spoon’s cereal, you’d get about 16g of protein, and in Ghost’s it’d be 19g. While that is a drastic difference, it won’t mean anything if the No Sugar Company’s Perfect Protein Cereal tastes like cardboard. We’ll see how it goes when it makes its debut this summer, which will make or break the product, as flavor and texture are key in things like this.
