Optimum and McLaren team up for a limited Chocolate Honeycomb High Protein Shake

Optimum X Mclaren Chocolate Honeycomb Protein Shake

Optimum Nutrition added to its selection of ready-to-drink protein supplements around the middle of last year by way of the High Protein Shake. It sits under Pure Pro 50 and its smaller sibling Pure Pro 35, packing 30g of quality protein per bottle in traditional Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry, and Banana flavors. Leading up to Formula 1’s Australian Grand Prix, which is about a month away, the legacy brand has added another flavor to the beverage in collaboration with team McLaren.

Together with McLaren, Optimum Nutrition has developed a Chocolate Honeycomb flavor, combining the rich taste of milk chocolate and the sweet taste of honeycomb. The extension comes with the same 30g of complete protein per bottle from milk and casein, around 11g of carbohydrates, most of that sugar, about 5g of fat, and calories reasonably sitting just over 200. Optimum further shows off the collaboration on the product’s packaging with the McLaren logo and signature of its drivers.

The one catch with Optimum Nutrition and McLaren’s Chocolate Honeycomb High Protein Shake is that it is a limited edition launch, again perfectly timed with Formula 1’s Australian Grand Prix, so fans who end up enjoying the temporary extension may want to stock up and enjoy it while they can.
