Chiefs in Switzerland is a go-to snacking company when in a European country where it is distributed. The brand makes some pretty moderate bars, although where it shines is in its milkshake-like protein shakes and deliciously realistic protein pudding. All of its products are packed full of protein, low in sugar, and impressively reasonable calories, and now it’s brought that flair for taste and knowledge of nutrition into a bunch of other formats.
One of the completely new functional innovations Chiefs has brought to market this month is the Protein Milk Snack, which is really more of a Chiefs Protein Ice Cream Sandwich. The product features two rich chocolate sponge cakes either side of a sweet, high-protein milky cream. Together they provide 4.5g of protein in a smaller 28g treat, 11g of carbohydrates, under a gram of sugar, 5g of fat, and just less than triple digit calories at 99.
There is a moderate amount of protein in the Chiefs Protein Milk Snack, not a lot, but some, and again, there is practically no sugar with a guilt-free calorie count. The innovation falls into the realm of a better-for-you food that delivers the experience of cake and ice cream in a pocket-sized product. The protein ice cream sandwich or cake of sorts is available now in Switzerland, and knowing Chiefs, it’ll taste as great as it looks.
