Kraft has stepped into the protein-focused trend with PowerMac, a version of its classic Mac & Cheese enhanced with added pea protein to deliver 17g of the muscle-building macro per serving while keeping its signature format. The carbohydrates are on par with regular Mac & Cheese, sitting at 270 calories with moderate fat and sugar. It initially appeared in the standard Original flavor and is sold in value-focused bulk bundles through the membership retailer Costco.
It turns out there is a second option for Kraft’s PowerMac Mac & Cheese in White Cheddar, bringing a sharper, creamier cheese profile compared to the classic Original. The nutrition remains close, still highlighted with 17g of protein and 6g of fiber, but slightly higher calories at 280 per serving. This one will be available in grocery stores in individual boxes alongside Original, unlike the bulk offering at Costco, which is still tough to pass at $14 for eight boxes.
