Major Swiss food and beverage brand Ok dives into high protein with a bar

Ok Protein Bar

Ok is a mainstream brand in Switzerland that can be found all throughout the country in major retailers in abundance. We know it for its easily accessible line of energy drinks, which continues to expand and keep things exciting with different varieties, flavor extensions, and temporary drops. Ok does make many other foods and beverages, as well as general items like backpacks and hats, but starting this month, its extensive catalog includes the Ok Protein Bar.

The Ok Protein Bar is the major Swiss brand’s foray into high-protein foods, and it’s a bit on the heavy side, although it is a step in the right direction for a name that has immense reach and distribution in the market. The protein snack tips the scales at 65g, a bit heavier than most protein bars, and from that, you get 18.2g of protein from milk protein. We’re not sure what the carbohydrates and fat are, but expect the calories to be in the 200s due to the overall size.

There is just one flavor currently available for the Ok Protein Bar in Salted Caramel, and while that’s a lonely situation to start, if it’s anything like the Ok Energy Drink, it’ll add more flavors and potentially even other varieties as the months go by.
