Savas separates its latest protein innovation with an infusion of probiotics

Savas Biopro

Savas in Japan has a whole host of protein powders available, all separated by their sources of protein, whether it be traditional whey concentrate or plant-based soy, as well as their nutritional balance. It’s always done a great job at making it clear what makes each protein-based supplement different, although in its latest effort, a bit more explanation is needed, with the intriguing Savas BioPro Whey Protein 100.

Similar to some of its other entries in the saturated protein category, the new BioPro Whey Protein 100 does rely on whey, and it has standard macros. The profile starts with 20g of protein per serving, all from high-quality whey, 3.9g of carbohydrates, practically zero sugar, 1.8g of fat, and 111 calories. Where BioPro gets different is that the brand has infused it with probiotics to amplify the power of protein, and the growth and recovery results that typically come with it.

The combination of protein powder, specifically whey protein and probiotics is not anything new, but an innovative extension to the Savas line of supplements that already has plenty of competitors in that busy category. It is definitely a more premium offering for fans of the brand in Japan, considering spending the extra for BioPro Whey Protein 100 at ¥4,120 (25.81 USD) for a 420g bag and ¥6,760 (42.35 USD) for 900g.
