This Saturday, the Red Bull One Piece Double Don tournament comes to a close with the grand final taking place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This follows months of preparation, involving store signups back in January, player signups from February to March, and store qualifiers also from February to March. It is the Red Bull Gaming department that is getting behind the tournament, and it has put together some truly unique items specifically for its Double Don Final.
Red Bull is giving away some massive prizes for the last players standing in its One Piece Double Don competition, and it’s even put together some exclusive cards as prizes and for use in the games themselves. The energy drink giant has crafted its own Don cards in standard and Double Don, which feature Red Bull cans. There is also a Monkey D. Luffy promo card featuring a silver foil, textured finish, and a Red Bull Double Don stamp on the front.
While Red Bull is mostly seen in coolers and at conventions, handing around its legendary energy drink, it does many other things in and around its fanbases. The One Piece Double Don tournament is a great example of that, and as you can see, when it takes on these initiatives and puts on these things, it goes all in and makes sure it delivers for fans and followers.
