Mad Fit is the newest subbrand from the Russian powerhouse Bombbar, winner of our Functional Brand Of The Year Award three times in the past. The expansion looks to be a very protein-focused selection and started with a protein bar, moved to the decadent Protein Brownie, and now we’ve got the Mad Fit Mallow Cake. The latest from Bombbar is actually a very similar innovation to the flagship Protein Cake from fellow Russian functional company Fit Kit.
Bombbar and Mad Fit describe the all-new Mallow Cake as a protein souffle, and again, it follows the same sort of format as Fit Kit’s popular Protein Cake with a crumbly base, fluffy marshmallow-like main body, and a covering of rich chocolate. The product has 12g of protein per piece to a moderate 5.2g of carbohydrates, no added sugar, 6.8g of fat, and a calorie count of 140, which is a damn good protein-to-calorie-ratio for how delicious the treat looks.
We’ve seen Bombbar attempt a whole host of shapes, sizes, and formats with various functional benefits, so it was only a matter of time before it hit close to home for Fit Kit, and that’s what you get in the Mad Fit Mallow Cake. At 12g of protein and 140 calories, it’s right around a typical protein bar in terms of nutrition balance, and it’s available now at bombbar.ru in Raspberries, Crazy Pistachio, and Blueberry Drive at ₽864.00 (12.13 USD) for a box of eight.
