Fans of Shark Pro are not short on functional foods, with a bar-format product in the Shark Bites Protein Bar, the alfajor-style Wheyfajor, the crispy Shark Wafer, and the chip innovation, Beef Crispy Protein. While that is more than enough options for most health-conscious consumers, the Brazilian brand is about to roll out another snack in the traditional bar shape, in the crispier and crunchier Shark Krisp or Sharkrisp Protein Bar.
Shark Pro’s upcoming Shark Krisp Protein Bar, spelled Sharkrisp on the label, is smaller than most competitors in the world of protein bars, and it has a lighter level of protein, too, at 11g. The carbohydrates, sugar, and fat are on the lower side, but the focus of this is taste and texture. The smaller size and less protein make room for a more delicious experience with a doughy base filled with crispy pieces, layered with a deliciously gooey filling, and covered in even more crunch and a solid chocolate outer.
Looking at the promotional material for the Sharkrisp Protein Bar, Shark Pro is doing a damn good job at making it look like it’s the most enjoyable protein snack to date. With the massive amount of experience the brand has in this type of product, we’re guessing it’s as good as it looks. The edible innovation will be available soon in Brazil in three flavors with a rich Malt Chocolate, sweet Red Berries, and decadent Dulce de Leche.
