XXL Nutrition has become a functional powerhouse in the last few years, now offering a whole host of protein snacks, better-for-you foods, and on-the-go protein treats. If you head to almost every convenience store and supermarket in its home country of the Netherlands, you’ll essentially find something for everyone. One of its more undeniably delicious products is FitPudding, a rich and decadent flavored pudding that’s got as much protein as a bar or shake.
There is an entire Fit Series of products from XXL Nutrition, which is actually in partnership with the Dutch dairy giant Zuivelhoeve, with FitMousse, FitQuark, FitDrink, FitYogurt, and again, FitPudding. There is now a second FitPudding on the market in the Netherlands that is basically double the original, with a total of 40g of quality protein per pot. The carbohydrates are close to even at 33.6g, a fair amount of that sugar at 24.8g, under 4g of fat, and a calorie count of 336.
The protein-to-calorie ratio is damn good, better than most protein bars, as if you divide it in half, you’re looking at 20g of protein to well under the 200 mark at 168. We can confirm firsthand that the partnership with Zuivelhoeve does give it an authentic pudding taste and texture, despite all the protein. The larger 40g protein FitPudding is available now in XXL Nutrition’s local market in the same flavors as the 20g in Vanilla and the swirled Chocolate Vanilla.
