ZeroLabs gives fans a more cost-effective blend-style protein powder

Zero Labs Whey

ZeroLabs in South Africa has revealed and released another competitor for the saturated category of protein powder, separate from its original ISO. While the growing brand’s original entry is a pure whey isolate, relying entirely on the high-end source of protein, its second protein product has a blend. The new supplement is simply named ZeroLabs Whey Protein, and it combines whey concentrate, isolate, and hydrolysate.

Compared to ZeroLabs ISO, Whey Protein isn’t as lean, but not far off, packing 25g of protein per serving, minimal carbohydrates and fat, and around 120 calories. The use of the blend of whey concentrate, isolate, and hydrolysate gives the product fast, moderate, and slow release levels for sustained muscle building. It’s a great alternative to ISO, with clear points of difference in ingredients, nutrition, and results.

Another key difference with blend-style protein powders, next to premium whey isolate supplements, is the price, and you do get that in ZeroLabs Whey Protein and its two flavors, Fruit Loops and the decadent Custard Malva Pudding. While the regular cost of ISO is R899 (55.42 USD) for a full-size tub of 30 servings, the new blend competitor is only a bit more expensive than that at R999 (61.58 USD) for twice as many servings at 60.
