Applied Nutrition buys major U.S. supplement manufacturer Nutrablend

Applied Acquires Nutrablend

The powerhouse and past International Brand Of The Year nominee and winner has been pushing hard and making waves in the most competitive and largest market in the world, right here in the U.S. It jumped into the game a few years ago, and right away it broke into many of the bigger retailers, including Walmart and The Vitamin Shoppe. The company has just made an even more significant move to further its support and power in the market.

Applied Nutrition has taken a major step forward in the U.S. by acquiring the majority of the assets of the sports nutrition manufacturer Nutrablend. The deal includes a fully integrated 107,000-square-foot facility in Buffalo, New York, an experienced management team, and an existing customer base. The added infrastructure gives Applied the ability to produce up to $300 million annually in America while supporting faster launches and greater supply chains.

Applied Nutrition also plans to grow the facility’s contract manufacturing operation under the newly created AN Labz name. Through there, it’ll give brands across North America and Latin America access to its production capabilities, product development expertise, and large-scale manufacturing. The acquisition gives Applied the tools it needs to drive stronger and deeper into the U.S. market, both for its own brand as well as manufacturing for others.
