Pepsi puts a bit more caffeine in its Night Edition to help fans stay up and watch the World Cup

Pepsi Night Edition With More Caffeine

Pepsi is no stranger to building campaigns around major sporting moments, and its latest limited edition is aimed squarely at football fans staying up deep into the night in the Middle East, to watch the event. The beverage giant has rolled out Pepsi Night Edition, complete with special activations, exclusive Awake Kits, branded merchandise, and even a phone holder designed for on-the-go and to keep the match front and center through every minute of the action.

The centerpiece is still the drink itself, which keeps the familiar Pepsi cola taste but adds a noticeable boost in caffeine for extra late-night energy. While the caffeine isn’t as high as your standard energy drink, it is up there and more than your standard can of Pepsi at 45mg. It comes in a slim 330ml can, and it is the regular recipe in terms of nutrition, giving you 22g of carbohydrates, absolutely all of it is added sugar, and the calorie count is just shy of 100 at 85.

Consumers in the United Arab Emirates can pick up Pepsi Night Edition and its higher 45mg of caffeine per can, at the likes of Carrefour, which has close to 200 locations, as well as other markets in the Middle East, including Kuwait and Saudi Arabia.
