Gorilla Mind could be bringing back its much-loved tropical flavor for its energy drink

Potential Return Of Tropic Wave Gorilla Mind Energy Drink

The Gorilla Mind Energy Drink has had an impressive run of innovation, especially in that first year, where it promised to drop at least one flavor every month for the first year, and managed to pump out 12 extensions in just over that. One of the options that came on board the energy and focus-enhancing beverage in its debut year was Tropic Storm as an exclusive to the specialty retailer The Vitamin Shoppe.

Fans of the Gorilla Mind Energy Drink will remember that Tropic Storm was eventually renamed Tropic Wave, and while it’s a bit hard to tell, that one seems to have been phased out, with the brand’s own website no longer listing it. The brand doesn’t drop as many flavors as it used to, but it does still keep things exciting, and in one week, we are getting another extension to the Gorilla Mind Energy Drink that we can’t help but feel is the return of Tropic Wave.

The brand’s short video shows a whole bunch of tropical fruits, hence why we’re thinking this is going to be the return of Tropic Wave, or at the very least, something in that same area in terms of taste. The teaser includes orange, passion fruit, pineapple, apricots, and even papaya, making for an extremely varied fruit experience whether it’s Tropic or not.
