The extensively creative and regularly busy French functional food company Joyfuel just got done expanding the menu of its flagship protein snack, the Joyfuel Protein Bar, with a sweet, tart, and smooth Lemon Meringue Tart. The snacking specialist is now branching out with something a little different, introducing its all-new Crunchy Nuts Protein Bar, a more textured experience built around whole nuts and familiar candy bar-style flavor combinations.
The Joyfuel Crunchy Nuts Protein Bar arrives in two flavors with Salted Caramel Peanut and Hazelnut Chocolate. Salted Caramel Peanut combines whole peanuts, salted caramel, and a milk chocolate coating and packs 12g of protein, 24g of carbohydrates, less than 2g of sugar, and 214 calories. As for Hazelnut Chocolate, that gets you crunchy whole hazelnuts wrapped in milk chocolate with 10g of protein, and thanks to its slightly higher fat, you get 231 calories.
While the protein is a little lower than most competitors in the bar category, Joyfuel has clearly put the focus on delivering an authentic wholesome, snack bar-style experience with plenty of crunch from whole nuts and sweetness from rich chocolate. Both Crunchy Nuts flavors are available now individually and in boxes of 12, rolling out across the French market.
