Barebells’ exclusive Gooey Protein Bar could be getting wider availability and it deserves it

Barebells Spread Protein Bar Difference And Availability

Late last year, Barebells gave Germany the debut of its Spread Protein Bar, also known as the Gooey Bar, beginning with the decadent Hazelnut Spread and Chocolate Spread flavors. Pistachio followed in Sweden and later made its way over to the United Kingdom. The 45g format packs 15g of protein, no added sugar, and around 160 calories, putting familiar Barebells nutrition into a smaller, especially indulgent snack.

Despite looking relatively close to the flagship Barebells Protein Bar, the experience of the Gooey Protein Bar is noticeably different. It has a slightly thinner, equally doughy body that importantly leaves room for a heavy stream of flavor through the center, and that filling is every bit as thick and gooey as the imagery suggests. As you bite in, you get hit with an intense burst of flavor that adds to the whole mouthful; it’s not just about texture.

For fans wanting to get their hands on the Barebells Gooey Protein Bar that have yet to get it in their country, it is still very exclusive, not as much as the Chewy Bar, but it is limited. It is basically only in Europe, including the likes of Sweden, Germany, and the UK, with no hint of a US release. That said, the series is clearly popular, being around this long and getting new flavors, so there is a chance it makes its way over here.
