Just over a year ago, Glanbia revealed it was looking to sell Body & Fit, the long-running Dutch retailer and supplement brand it had acquired several years earlier. After that announcement, there wasn’t much to suggest what the future held for the respected name. That has now changed, as Body & Fit appears to be on the verge of a full-scale return, with weeks of teasers pointing to a complete relaunch rather than a simple refresh.
The company has been steadily previewing what’s coming, showing off a cleaner, more modern identity, redesigned packaging, an overhauled website and even all-new products. Body & Fit has also wiped its social media history to make way for the new direction. It’s a significant move that we’ve seen many brands do over the years, although regardless of when and how it’s done, it’s always been a sign of broad sweeping change.
Everything suggests Body & Fit is getting ready to make a serious return, not simply update its image. The countdown, behind-the-scenes videos and steady stream of previews all point to a brand preparing to reintroduce itself in a much bigger way. As always, we can’t wait to see what the revitalized Body & Fit looks like, as a retailer and, of course, a brand, with high expectations of what’ll be filling out the supplements.
