Hany Rambod’s Evogen takes on plant protein with its grain-free GreenTein

evogen greentein

Champion bodybuilder trainer Hany Rambod and his brand Evogen, are the latest to get into one of the few fast-growing categories. The area we’re talking about is plant-based, vegan-friendly protein powder, which Evogen now has in its lineup with GreenTein. The product is fairly straightforward as far as plant protein powders go with just the one main ingredient added on top of the protein sources.

Each serving of Evogen’s all-new GreenTein features the typical vegan protein amount at 20g from pea, watermelon, and pumpkin seed protein, followed by 4g of carbohydrates, zero sugar, 2g of fat, and a total of 110 calories. There are no added EAAs to bring up the amino balance in GreenTein, as we’ve seen in more recent vegan protein competitors, but it is fortified with vitamin B12 with 4.8mcg per serving.

GreenTein is available now through Evogen’s website, with two flavor options to choose from in a rich-sounding Dark Chocolate Caramel and Vanilla Almond. The supplement’s tub tips the scales at a relatively light 1.62lbs with enough powder for 23 servings and a price tag of $44.95, which can currently be discounted to $35.96 with the brand’s 4th Of July coupon code ‘JULY4TH’.
