Recon teases its slightly heavier Recoil Second Strike 25% more BCAAs

recoil second strike

Just as it did earlier this year for its pre-workout supplement Ambush. Recon Nutrition has unveiled a sequel to its amino competitor, officially titled Recoil Second Strike. For now the brand has only released an image of it confirming its title as well as an increase and decrease to a couple of the formula’s major highlights.

Firstly you have the increase which is good news for anyone who didn’t think Recon’s original Recoil didn’t have enough BCAAs. Recoil Second Strike lists right on the front of its bottle that it has 5g of BCAAs per serving, 25% more than its predecessor. You then have the product’s decrease with its previous dose of coconut water getting dropped from 2g all the way down to half a gram. While those two changes are already quite a bit, we do know that’s not all Recon has done to Recoil Second Strike.

The upcoming sequel supplement’s tub weight has also been confirmed this week, with the product tipping the scales at 396g. That weight works out to roughly 13g per serving, over 1.5g more than the original Recoil, which certainly wouldn’t be the case if the extra gram of BCAAs and 1.5g less coconut water is all that’s different.
