Last year we saw the Mars candy company take on the supplement industry with a number of candy bar inspired protein products. The major move included the launch of a protein infused Bounty Bar, a protein Milky Way, and even a Mars Bar protein powder.
This week, details have surfaced on another candy bar protein release from Mars, which is going to go down quite nicely with fans of the original Mars Protein Bar. Now confirmed as coming soon is a limited edition Mars Xtra Choc Protein Bar, which as its name suggests, is a Mars Protein Bar featuring a little extra chocolate.
At the moment we don’t know too much about the contents and macros of the Mars Xtra Choc Protein Bar, although it does look like it’ll be similar to the regular Mars Protein Bar. What we can confirm is that the Xtra Choc edition is going to have 18g of protein per bar, a gram less than the regular version, with the bar itself weighing the same at 57g.
The limited edition Mars Xtra Choc Protein Bar is expected to release sometime soon, and like all of the Mars protein products, it’ll be available in the UK and Europe.
