The Russian-based Bombbar and its functional brand Chikalab are back in the news this week, with a supplement that sees it get in on the collagen trend, although it isn’t as straightforward as most. While the product does indeed feature a collagen-based formula, Bombbar has thrown a lot more into this one to provide a variety of additional benefits.
The newest Bombbar supplement is simply named ‘Collagen’, which comes with what looks to be around 10g of hydrolyzed collagen per serve, providing type I and III collagen. The brand promotes the usual benefits from the title ingredient, including support for healthy hair, skin, nails, and joints.
Alongside the main feature in Bombbar’s Collagen are the classic joint supporters; chondroitin, glucosamine, and MSM, as well as additional beauty ingredients in hyaluronic acid and proline. On top of all of those extras is a full blend of vitamin and minerals for general health, and making the product quite a unique collagen competitor.
Bombbar and Chikalab’s new Collagen is a powder formula and has hit the market with three tastes to choose from in Orange, Raspberry, and Peach & Passion Fruit. The supplement is now in stock on the brand’s Russian website at ₽1,500 (19.03 USD) for a full-size 25 serving tub.
