Creamy Filled Cupcakes introduced under Dough Bar’s Prototype Series

When The Dough Bar started its series of Protein Packed Prototypes, it was quite a while before it turned into an actual series. The brand introduced its line of prototype products with the high protein Whoopie Pie, which took a few months to become a permanent Dough Bar offering. Since then, the brand has gone on to launch several other prototypes, including Monkey Bread and more recently, Mini Cakes.

At precisely 8AM Pacific Time (11AM Eastern), The Dough Bar is introducing yet another concept under its Protein Packed Prototypes series, and like the others, it is a delicious-looking treat. The newest innovation from the minds behind the tasty functional food brand is Cream Filled Cupcakes. They are, of course, high in protein, squeezing in a reasonable 12g of protein with 16g of fat, and a high 25g of carbohydrates.

As you can see, the macros on The Dough Bar’s Cream Filled Cupcakes are far from your traditional protein bar or packaged snack, with 12g of protein for 285 calories. Similar to the brand’s other products; however, the trade-off is always moderate protein with high calories for amazing taste and texture. We haven’t tried this one, so we don’t know for sure, but The Dough Bar promises a delicious experience.

The Cream Filled Cupcakes are said to have a soft, smooth, and moist, cakey body with a tasty creamy center and a bit of glaze on top to further sweeten the experience. The Dough is opening pre-orders for the product at those times mentioned earlier, 8AM Pacific Time (11AM Eastern), through its website, with shipping of pre-orders taking place exactly one week from now on Friday the 17th of this month.
