Barebells and its top-rated protein bar expand into Trader Joe’s

It was only at the beginning of the year that the legendary functional food company Barebells, made its way to the US. The brand and its flagship product have been our number one rated protein bar since we tried it two years ago in Europe. It’s been great watching the brand grow and expand globally, and rightfully so, as the product deserves to be everywhere.

We have Barebells back in the headlines this week as it has once again pushed its domestic takeover one step further, expand into a major location. After making its way into several stores and stockists in the months since its US debut, the brand has now become available at the grocery chain, Trader Joe’s, who has over 500 stores across 42 states.

It’s always a step worth celebrating when up and coming brands achieve milestones like getting into major grocery chains. While Barebells isn’t necessarily an up and comer, being well established all around the world, it is still very much a newcomer in the US, but that does appear to be gradually changing.
