Protein pancake mix the first product in Rule One’s new functional family

rule one proteins whey cakes

The first product under Rule One Proteins’ new Performance Pantry series of functional foods has arrived today, introducing Wheycakes. The product is a powder formula that fans can use to create high-protein pancakes at home. Wheycakes is made with a fairly clean and straightforward set of ingredients, with the macros also being relatively clean and lean.

Rule One Proteins’ Wheycakes are mostly made using premium whey isolate to give it a good amount of protein, whole grain oat flour, butter, and egg white protein. The ingredients come together to provide 13g of protein from a serving of 30g of powder, 2g of fat, 10g of carbohydrates with a gram each of that fiber and sugar, and a total calorie count of 110.

The Wheycakes nutrition profile is certainly better than your traditional pancakes, although as per usual, it always comes down to flavor on these things. Fortunately, Rule One Proteins promises a light and fluffy experience for Wheycakes and with a variety of three flavors to choose from, including Chocolate Brownie, Wild Blueberry, and a traditional Classic Buttermilk.

You can pick up 12oz bags of Rule One Proteins’ first Performance Pantry product from its website at $18.99, with enough powder to serve up 12 pancakes.
