Cricket protein brand Hi! partners with Bougie Bakes for cricket protein cookies

The brand, originally known as Crik Nutrition, made some big moves in the middle of last year by completely revamping its lineup with a new look, name, and some tweaks to its cricket-based protein powder. It essentially transformed itself into an all-new brand officially renamed Hi!, which stands for Human Improvement, and now we have its first new product.

Hi! has released an intriguing functional item that’s been put together in partnership with Bougie Bakes, a company that started to give people healthier alternatives to their favorite snacks and treats. Hi! has partnered with the brand to create delicious, all-natural cookies made with cricket protein to give them an impressive 6 to 7g of protein per cookie.

Hi! and Bougie Bakes’ cricket protein cookies are made using almond flour, nut butter, egg, collagen, coconut oil, and for flavor, features like dark chocolate and freeze-dried strawberries. The full nutrition profile on a single 30g cookie is not too bad with as mentioned, 6 to 7g of protein, 9 to 10g each of fat and carbohydrates, zero sugar, and 110 to 130 calories.

The Hi! collaboration is available now through the Bougie Bakes website in two tasty flavors with Strawberry Almond and Peanut Butter Dark Chocolate. They cost $30 a box with a total of 12 cricket-powered protein cookies at 12, which does work out somewhat reasonable at $2.50 a cookie.
