Protein Kitchen donates to Red Cross for every bar sold of its new flavor

protein kitchen rode kors protein bar collaboration

The last time we saw something new from the Danish functional brand The Protein Kitchen was just over a year ago when it introduced another flavor for its real food-based Protein Bar. This week, the brand is back again with news of the same sort of development, revealing and releasing flavor number four for the product, and it’s a special edition collaboration.

The Protein Kitchen, which is widely available in convenience stores across Denmark, has partnered with the Red Cross (Røde Kors) for a Cocoa and Cashews flavor of its protein bar. Like the other options, the product is made with clean, real food ingredients, precisely five cashews, three dates, and three egg whites, to provide 12g of protein per bar, 20g of carbohydrates, 16g of that sugar, 7.7g of fat, and 202 calories.

Where the Red Cross partnership comes in is, for every individual Cocoa and Cashews Protein Bar sold by The Protein Kitchen, it will donate 2 DKK (0.33 USD). The product is currently rolling out to stores and stockists in Denmark and is certainly going to stand out on shelves as it features an eye-catching pink-colored wrapper as opposed to its usual brown.
