Denmark’s Protein Kitchen expands the menu of its five-month-old protein bar

Almost five months ago, the functional brand The Protein Kitchen, who is widely available throughout Denmark, launched an all-new protein bar made with only real food ingredients. Much like the popular RXBar, the product lists off all of its main ingredients on the front of its wrapper with three egg whites, three dates, and nine peanuts or almonds.

The Protein Kitchen has now introduced another flavor of its real food protein snack that keeps with the product’s theme and lists its main ingredients on its wrapper. The new addition to the protein bar that previously only had two tastes on its menu is Cocoa and Hazelnuts, which is also made with egg whites and dates, but has hazelnuts as its nut.

The new Cocoa and Hazelnuts Protein Kitchen Protein Bar comes with a similar nutrition profile to the original flavors, starting with 11g of protein. You then have 11g of fat, 20g of carbohydrates with 18g of that sugar, 4.5g of fiber, a reasonable 224 calories, with the product also containing nothing artificial, including no artificial colors, flavors, or sweeteners.

You can pick up The Protein Kitchen’s first addition to its real food protein bar since launch, through its website at a price of DKK199 (28.87 USD) for a box of 12.
