Got7’s sausages are indeed high in protein at 8g each with only a gram of fat

got7 nutrition protein sausages

Last week we saw one of the most unique functional products we’d ever come across with the latest creation from German brand Got7 Nutrition in its high-protein sausages. At the time of sharing, we didn’t have any details outside of a picture of the product, limiting us to only its name and a handful of highlights listed on the front of its packaging.

We’ve now got a lot more information on Got7 Nutrition’s Protein Sausages, and they are indeed as interesting as they sound. Firstly, the product is made to be cooked, with the brand directing fans to throw it on the pan or grill. Next, the sausages really only have two main ingredients outside of their salt, seasoning, and spices, and they are pork and yogurt.

Together those two key ingredients give Got7 Nutrition’s Protein Sausages, both the Bratwurst and Bockwurst versions, incredibly impressive macros, far better than traditional sausages. In a single 50g sausage, you get 8g of protein, only half a gram of fat, an almost non-existent 300mg of carbohydrates, and a lean calorie count of 41 to 42.

All we can say is Got7 Nutrition strikes again, bringing a healthy high-protein twist to a type of food we have not seen any other functional brand attempt or touch. The Protein Sausages are available in Germany, including through the brand’s online store, where a can of six sausages will cost you € 5.95 (7.06 USD) or € 5.45 (6.47 USD) for a two pack.
