Nutrend keeps the protein high and sugar low in its new candy bar style snack

Nutrend Qwizz Protein Bar

As we’ve mentioned a few times before, if there is something European brand Nutrend already has a lot of, its protein powders and protein bars. While each of its products in those categories is different in its own right and offers something the others don’t, the brand still has a lot, and this week, it has found room to squeeze in another high-protein snack.

The Qwizz Protein Bar is the latest innovation from Nutrend, with a candy bar style snack featuring a doughy base, a gooey layer on top of that, then a coat of real chocolate filled with crunchy crispy pieces. While the product does have that more candy bar-style build, it is not short on nutrition, with the brand packing it with a solid 21g of protein per 60g bar.

That 21g of protein is consistent across all five of its flavors, although the other macros not so much, with 8.1 to 8.4g of fat, 17.7 to 18.3g of carbohydrates, 1.7g of that sugar, and 218 to 222 calories. As for what its flavors actually are, there is Peanut Butter, Chocolate Coconut, Almond Chocolate, Chocolate Brownies, and Gold Salted Caramel, all covered in chocolate.

Nutrend’s Qwizz Protein Bar is out now in its home country of Czechia with other locations to follow, and it’s available in the usual box of 12 protein bars and likely individually from physical retailers.
