Halo Top makes its light ice cream even creamier for a more realistic experience

Halo Top Creamier Light Ice Cream

Frozen functional company Halo Top has already dropped several releases this year, from its Gooey Brownie Halo Top Pops filled with brownie pieces to the sweet and refreshing, lower sugar Fruit Sorbet. Another one of those launches was last month’s all-new flavor for the brand’s signature pints of light ice cream with Chocolate Cake Batter.

It turns out there is a little more to Chocolate Cake Batter than just being another flavor. That product is arriving just in time to celebrate Halo Top’s tenth birthday, and to go with that, Chocolate Cake Batter is also the first ice cream to feature the brand’s new recipe. Halo Top has brought its original healthier treat even closer to regular ice cream by making it creamier, all while still delivering great flavor and nutrition.

Now Creamier Halo Top Ice Cream

All that Halo Top is saying about its new recipe for its high protein, light ice cream is that it is indeed creamier. The nutrition doesn’t appear to have changed all that much, with its Chocolate being a great example. The Chocolate Halo Top ice cream still has 19g of protein and 300 calories per pint, although the fat and carbohydrates are slightly different, with two-thirds the fat, 3g more sugar, and 7g more carbs.

As mentioned, Chocolate Cake Batter is the first to feature Halo Top’s all-new, creamier recipe, which will eventually roll out to its many other flavors like Sea Salt Caramel, Cookies & Cream, and Peanut Butter Cup. To help fans tell the difference between the two versions of its ice cream the new recipe features a callout on its tub saying “now creamier”.
