Second protein powder from 6AM gives its fans a plant-based alternative

6am Run Green And Lean

Performance and endurance brand 6AM Run has been growing its line of sports nutrition supplements quite a bit recently. Last month saw the launch of its first-ever pre-workout, albeit a mostly moderately dosed, straightforward one, and now we have another first in a category for the brand. 6AM Run has launched a second protein powder, and unlike its first, the whey-powered Track Fuel, this one is plant-based.

The latest from 6AM Run is the completely vegan-friendly protein powder Green & Lean, providing 20g of protein per serving from a blend of pea isolate, brown rice protein, and quinoa. The other macros making up the serving are 6g of carbohydrates with half of that sugar, 3.5g of fat, and 130 calories. The brand has also thrown an extra feature into Green & Lean with a blend of berries, including the likes of acai and goji.

The price of 6AM Run’s Green & Lean is quite high next to some of the reputable and well-established plant-based protein powders out there at $59.99 for a tub of 28 servings. That’s a third more than a tub of Ghost Vegan, which has the same amount of protein and servings, and amazing flavor. You can grab Green & Lean straight from the brand’s website in two traditional flavors, Chocolate Brownie and Vanilla Custard.
