Combat Fuel creates a second Biscoff-like flavor of its protein-packed cups

Combat Fuel Protein Cookie Cups

Combat Fuel entered the functional food space last year but not with a traditional bar or any other common format. It introduced Protein Peanut Butter Cups, which is a healthy spin on the delicious peanut butter cup treat. As per the name, it is packed full of protein and reasonably low in sugar, with each pair of cups providing 13g of protein, only 8.4g of carbohydrates with 6.8g of that sugar, 14g of fat, and 210 calories.

Combat Fuel has now put together an additional flavor of that product, although it is not calling it Protein Peanut Butter Cup, instead naming it something different based on the flavor and experience. The flavor extension of sorts is Protein Cookie Cups, featuring two cups per pack and providing a similar nutrition profile with 10g of protein, 11.5g of carbohydrates, 6.1g of sugar, 13.6g of fat, and 201 calories.

Protein Cookie Cups is said to have a caramelized biscuit flavor with a creamy biscuit center, similar to the famous Biscoff biscuit, making for a nice alternative to that classic combination of chocolate and peanut butter. Combat Fuel plans on launching its Protein Cookie Cups this week through its online store at £2.50 per pack, with no mention of a bulk box of ten, like it has for the Protein Peanut Butter Cups.
