For anyone making plans for next year’s Mr. Olympia, you can now block out dates as the week has been set for the prestigious event, and while it’s not the same as this year by about a month, it’s also not in the same place. The Olympia Weekend has been a rollercoaster when it comes to location, moving to Orlando, Florida, the year of the pandemic as well as 2021, then going back to Las Vegas last year, only to return to Orlando this year.
For 2024, Mr. Olympia is indeed back again in Las Vegas, Nevada, making it the 22nd time the event has taken place in Sin City. It is shifting venue to the newly opened Resorts World, although the convention will still be taking place at the giant Las Vegas Convention Center. It’s an ideal move, both the return to Las Vegas and use of Resorts World, considering the Olympia has a milestone celebration next year, marking 60 years of the bodybuilding contest.
The week to block out for your calendar is Thursday, October 10th through to Sunday, the 13th, with tickets not yet available, but the organizers will announce when all of that becomes available over at mrolympia.com.
