Protein Pick & Mix’s newly released house brand drops a protein spin on milk chocolate cups

Burly Good Co Burly Bites Chocolate Cups

The reputable and reliable functional retailer Protein Pick & Mix out of the UK surprised fans as well as us recently by coming out with its own brand of supplements called The Burly Good Co. It started with a whey-based protein powder by the name of Burly Shakes, then followed it up with standalone creatine as the first entry in its Burly Basics line. The store has surprised once again here in December, releasing another Burly Good Co item, but this time, it’s not a supplement.

Joining the original Burly Shakes protein powder and Burly Basics creatine is Protein Pick & Mix’s first functional offering under its still extremely young brand. Launching this week is the Burly Bites family of better-for-you snacks and treats, and kicking off that series of products is Burly Bites Choco Cups. These are milk chocolate cups with a sports nutrition twist where you get more protein and a lot less sugar than the decadent, dessert-style chocolate cups you may be used to.

Protein Pick & Mix and The Burly Good Co’s Burly Bites Choco Cups have that typical milk chocolate cup build of a soft and smooth center made up of speculoos cookie spread wrapped in decadent milk chocolate. The nutrition in a single cup is as good as you could want with the undoubtedly delicious protein snacking experience, providing 11g of protein, mostly from whey concentrate, a somewhat fair 12g of carbohydrates, 5.9g of that sugar, 14g of fat, and 221 calories.

The Burly Good Co’s Burly Bites Choco Cups have hit the market in the one Caramelized Cookie flavor, hence that tasty speculoos spread filling, and typically through Protein Pick & Mix’s online store at £2.45 (3.08 USD). Through until the end of today, you can get 20% off any of Burly Good Co’s products, including the new milk chocolate cups, bringing it down to £1.96 (2.47 USD), or grab any of the house brand’s supplements and Protein Pick & Mix will throw one in for free.
