The sports nutrition store Supplement King marked a massive milestone last week, opening its 100th retail location in Canada, and it celebrated with a host of different promotions and activations. For consumers, it discounted everything in its stores by a substantial 25% and even had select products on a buy one get one free deal. We later discovered that some of the brands on Supplement King’s shelves had put together special edition versions specifically for the retailer and to support its 100th store celebration.
One of those sports nutrition companies showing Supplement King some love is Raw Nutrition by way of King Thavage and the Canadian giant Perfect Sports, maker of the popular New Zealand Whey-based protein powder Diesel. The celebratory, special edition item that brand has strung together exclusively for Supplement King and its stores is a reskin of its French Vanilla flavor of the 360g size of Diesel protein powder. It has all of the same ingredients and macros but in a limited-time black and gold label supporting the Canadian retailer’s milestone of 100 locations, and it even has a Supplement King stamp on the side.
