Target welcomes the category-leading Barebells into its stores in convenient boxes of four

Barebells Now Available At Target

The functional food powerhouse Barebells has come an incredibly long way; after taking over its home country of Sweden, then neighboring countries like Norway and Denmark, as well as other parts of Europe, it brought its signature protein bar stateside. Rightfully so, the brand and maker of what we consider to be the best-tasting protein bar in the world has made its mark here in the US, finding its way into specialty retailers, convenience stores, and major supermarkets, which it has another of this week.

Barebells has officially launched in Target and its close to 2,000 locations throughout the country, and done so in a similar fashion to last year’s debut in Walmart. Instead of being able to purchase the brand and its always delicious protein snacks only in boxes of the usual 12, Target is stocking the products in compact and convenient packs of four. It is a slightly different selection of packs than Walmart, with Salty Peanut, Caremel Cashew, and Cookies & Cream for the signature Barebells Protein Bar, as well as Caramel Chocolate and Salted Peanut Caramel of the genuinely candy bar-like Barebells Soft Protein Bar.

Barebells prices its four-bar boxes of original and softer protein bars the same at $8.99, which may be far smaller than the brand’s 12-packs found in almost every other location, but their overall cost is still relatively competitive. That $8.99 for a pack of four Barebells Protein Bars or Barebells Soft Protein Bars works out to about $2.25 a piece, and that is cheaper by 7% compared to a full box through shop.barebells.com.
