Boosted version of X-Zero packs a minuscule 100mg of creatine per serving for $5 more

X Gamer Creatine Boosted X Zero

The obviously named gaming supplement company X-Gamer in Sweden has released an intriguing new version of what has become the core focus of its line, X-Zero. That product is separate from the busy brand’s self-titled original, with the key differences being that it is sugar-free and has half the caffeine at 100mg a serving. Alongside its eighth birthday celebration, X-Gamer has launched something called X-Zero Creatine Boosted, and it is, indeed, the X-Zero supplement boosted with creatine.

The limited-time product from X-Gamer actually features a graphic on the front at the top, marking it as a celebratory 8th Anniversary release, but again, this isn’t just any ordinary X-Zero effort. The Creatine Boosted X-Zero combines everything from the regular options available for the supplement, including the B vitamins and 100mg of caffeine, plus creatine monohydrate. Unfortunately, the creatine isn’t at an amount even remotely worth highlighting of 100mg per serving, 2% of the typical full 5g dose.

The toughest part of X-Gamer’s special edition Creatine Boosted X-Zero is that the product does cost you extra. The regular price of a 100-serving bottle of the supplement is 449 SEK, whereas the Boosted spin-off is 50 more at 499 SEK (47.41 USD) for the same 100 servings. That works out to just under $5 USD extra per bottle for the minuscule addition of creatine, and it does come in a completely new flavor named Mangosteen, inspired by and modeled after the refreshing tropical fruit of the same name.
