Sports nutrition powerhouse Optimum Nutrition, took some time last year to revamp one of its longer-running products and a favorite of ours when it comes to beverages with a lighter level of caffeine in the AmiNO Energy Drink. The functional beverage blending amino acids, electrolytes, and energizing ingredients has been on the market for quite some time, and it is available all around the globe. To close out 2023, it got a revamp where its look and feel were given a refresh.
Optimum Nutrition applied the updated look of its AmiNO Energy Drink to all of the options on its menu and quickly followed up the rebrand with a flavor extension in Berry Burst. It was an exciting move, as for as long as the product has been around, its menu didn’t grow all that often. As it so happens, Berry Burst was not a one-off, as we have news to share of another addition to the great-tasting, zero-sugar energy drink and it is a more creative recipe in Cocoberry Breeze.
Based purely on the name and flavor callout on the can of Optimum Nutrition’s Cocoberry Breeze AmiNO Energy Drink, it is a blend of coconut and strawberry, certainly not a typical combination of tastes, but indeed sounds tasty. The extension has all of the beverage’s usual features, including 100mg of caffeine for energy, no sugar, and low calories, and it is due to roll out everywhere, including online and in-stores like the convenience chain QuikTrip as well as H-E-B, and Hy-Vee.
