Protein Kitchen expands the menu of its real food-based bar for the first time in years

Orange Cocoa Protein Kitchen Protein Bar

The Protein Kitchen in Denmark is available all across the country, and while it has a great selection of high-protein snacks and foods, it also has easily accessible meals available in convenience stores, including its balanced Burrito Bowl, Nordic Salmon, and Italian Pasta. It is the brand’s signature protein bar that is headlines this week, as the RXBar-style product that lists its main ingredients on the front of its packaging and shouts “contains no bullshit”, has a new taste to choose from, which is not something that has happened often since its debut.

The self-titled Protein Kitchen Protein Bar started in four flavors with Coconut & Almonds, Cocoa & Peanuts, and Cocoa & Hazelnuts; eventually added Cocoa & Cashews about three years ago, although since then we haven’t seen any action. This month a new option is making its way to the many different stores you can find the real food protein snack in Orange & Cocoa. True to the name, it combines rich cocoa and citrusy orange, made with almonds, cashews, dates, and cocoa nibs, providing 6.5g of protein per piece, 24g of carbohydrates, two-thirds of that sugar, 9.3g of fat, and 214 calories.
