It wasn’t that long ago that Cellucor and its well-known pre-workout brand C4 announced an industry-alerting group of authentic flavor collaborations. The legacy brand put the space on notice with the unveiling of Hershey’s Chocolate and Reese’s Peanut Butter flavors for the all-new protein powder, C4 Whey. It also offered a sneak peek at a Bubble Yum flavor of the signature pre-workout C4 Original, crafted with the bubble gum brand itself.
The authentic flavor collaborations for the first-ever C4-branded protein powder C4 Whey, in Hershey’s Chocolate and Reese’s Peanut Butter, aren’t expected to be making their way to stores and stockists for at least another few months. The Bubble Yum flavor for C4 Original, it turns out, is coming much sooner. It has an official launch date of the middle of October; however, some stores out there are already showing up with stock and have it available for purchase.
When we say some stores are showing up with the sweet and bubble gum-like Bubble Yum C4 Original pre-workout, we mean GNCs, as that is the only place you’ll be able to get it initially. Cellucor and C4 have given their first flavor creation with Bubble Yum exclusively to GNC, and we imagine if it goes well, fans will be treated to more authentic flavors in partnership with the iconic bubble gum brand.
