It may not be the star of the show at the German giant ESN, but the dominating health and nutrition company’s Designer Protein Bar is a leader, and it has been on our list of top five tasting protein bars for some time. The product has an absolutely delicious candy bar-style build, with a soft main body topped with a gooey, flavorful layer and crispy bits and pieces, all wrapped in chocolate. Designer Bar isn’t overly large so it doesn’t have as much protein as most others in the category but that plays into the experience.
ESN’s incredibly competitive and delicious Designer Protein Bar is getting another flavor in a few days on Wednesday the 30th of this month, and it’s actually quite a surprising extension, as it’s more of an American favorite. The brand has put together a Cinnamon Cereal flavor of its signature protein snack, infusing the crave crushing product with a spicey touch of cinnamon and crunchy pieces, alongside the Designer Bar’s usual, moderate 13g of protein. It’ll joing the already rather large menu available for the ESN protein bar, including the likes of Fudge Brownie, Dark Cookie, and the sweet and salty Peanut Caramel.
